Tesero

At the centre of the Val di Fiemme, at 1000 metres above sea level, Tesero offers, at its best, all the landscapes and historical and touristic richness of the Val di Fiemme. Traditions, crafts, cultural events and mountains are Tesero’s strengths.

In the historic center stands out: the parish church of St. Elisha, the chapel of St. Roch from the sixteenth century and the Gothic church of St. Leonard and St. Gotthard, Casa Jellici, a historic residence that now houses a museum, exhibitions and cultural events, capitals, sundials, frescoes and ovens “from the pan”.

Artistic craftsmanship has also shaped the identity of the country over time: furniture and the creation of musical instruments, including organs and soundboards for violins and pianos.
During Christmas, Tesero is set up to celebrate: from the alleys, courtyards, windows, stables and cellars overlook one hundred artisan cribs. The event “Tesero and its Christmas Cribs” attracts thousands of visitors. In summer, the same village courtyards host the event “Le corte de Tiezer“, with spectacular re-enactments of ancient crafts, gastronomic traditions and music. On Tuesdays in July and August, the event “Tesero un paese da vivere” (Tesero a country to live in) is also held on long summer evenings.

Tesero is the ideal destination for sportsmen. In the town of Lago, there is the cross-country skiing centre, home to three editions of the Nordic Skiing World Championships. The village of Pampeago is the gateway to the ski carousel of the Làtemar Ski Center, with its 45 km of slopes. In summer, you can choose between riding stables, bike paths, climbing wall, Nordic walking, indoor bowling alley, tennis, minigolf and of course walks and excursions on Latemar, where the highest art park in the world RespirArt Pampeago was built.

The Magnificent Val di Fiemme

Val di Fiemme is a Dolomite valley in eastern Trentino with 11 villages, surrounded by the Lagorai chain and the Pale di San Martino. The Dolomites, a UNESCO natural heritage site, are the heart and horizon of our valley and define its character.

The variety and beauty of the vegetation has made the valley a natural park, in full continuity with the natural parks of Corno Bianco, Paneveggio and San Martino.

Woods and forests characterize the landscape of Val di Fiemme, showing off the pristine and lush face of the mountain. The spruce trees, giants of 50 meters that reach circumferences of up to 6 meters, are the most authentic landmarks.

Lake Carezza

Located in the western Dolomites, it mirrors with its magnificent crystal clear waters the peaks of Catinaccio and Latemar. The Alpine lake of Carezza, 1,534 meters above sea level, is located in the municipality of Nova Levante about 30 km from our Hotel and 25 km from Bolzano.

Known as one of the most beautiful and pure of all Trentino Alto Adige, it is surrounded by a dense forest of fir trees and is characterized by a particular color that it retains, even in winter, when the mountains whitens, reflecting a magical landscape and Christmas.

On weekends in December, advent becomes magical thanks to the Christmas Market that winds gently around the lake.
